You're pregnant? If so, multiply was eating an apple. Do you know, apples are consumed by pregnant women can reduce the risk of unborn babies in asthma.

This is the result of research experts from the University Of Aberdeen, UK. In this research, they studied the eating habits of 2000 expectant mothers, and then see their child's physical condition for five years. The result is surprising. Pregnant women who eat four or more apples a week, then the risk of children had asthma, 50 percent lower than children of mothers who consume only one or less per week the apple of his. The results of this research were presented at the conference the American Thoracic Society, recently.

So far, the experts can not explain how the apple could produce such benefits. To be sure, several previous studies concluded, apples consumed by adults can improve lung health. These benefits allegedly derived from the content of antioxidants in apples.

"There may be other factors in the lifestyle of pregnant women who love to eat the apple, so that children avoid asthma," said Dr Graham Devereux, who led the study. "This research also gives the message to pregnant women about the importance of implementing a healthy diet and balanced."
