Yogurt plus Strawberries

YOGURT are fermented milk. The main nutrients found in cow's milk, the carbohydrate (lactose), protein (casein), and fats, has been broken down into simpler bond by lactic acid bacteria. This change makes the yogurt easy to digest, so do not waste the body's energy supplies. Therefore, yogurts, including high energy foods are recommended for meal menu.

By being easy to digest, yogurt can be consumed with food that is easily digested, namely fruits. Value and treasure the abundant fruits of vitamin C, like strawberries. Other options: mango, papaya, Oranges, mango, guava, rambutan, pineapple. Vitamin C helps the body absorb more iron. In fact, according to Dr. Sheldon Saul Hadler, from the University of California, U.S., iron is the main actor in the process of energy metabolism. No wonder if eating yogurt plus vitamin C-rich fruits will make you more energetic.

A unique combination of yogurt + fruit, yogurt and good fruits are equally rich in potassium. These electrolyte minerals essential for the conversion of energy in cells. Therefore, getting enough potassium intakes will help you appear energetic. Example of fruit abundance of potassium in between orange, star fruit, cantaloupe, cantaloupe (green or orange), watermelon (red or yellow), banana. Another advantage of the yogurt, more calcium content that can be absorbed by the body.

Compared with the yogurt, cow's milk calcium absorbed less than optimal because of high protein acid is formed, which complicate the absorption of calcium. In yogurt, in addition to the protein already broken down - so as not to burden the digestive organs, the process of fermentation by lactic acid bacteria makes yogurt as base-forming foods that support the absorption of calcium.

Adequate intake of calcium helps prevent lethargy and fatigue, and relieve tension. In his book The Vitamin Alphabet, Dr. Christina Scott-M onc Rieff, M.Bch.B., M. F. Hom. Explain the importance of calcium to help "pull" the energy content of food.

This is evidenced in a study of women with menstrual disorders, such as fatigue and lethargy, which is fed with calcium levels vary during the 39 days. After they spend more calcium-rich foods equals 31 / 2 cups of yogurt per day, they were no longer experiencing fatigue and lethargy.

  1. Hi,

just recent I read online Health Tips and benefits about Yogurt that,

Yoghurt also reduces the problem of arthritis. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it relieves the inflammation of arthritis. Its also averts the action of H.pylori bacteria in the bowel and hence cures ulcers. Whole milk products reduce the risk of colorectal cancer. Yoghurt scores high when it comes to providing calcium to the body. It is very helpful for growing children and works in building bones far better than calcium supplements. It also helps in getting rid of volatile substances like hydrogen sulphide present in the mouth which cause bad breath.Just make sure the yoghurt you buy is made of low fat milk and is prebiotic.
